Impersonation and Scams Nullify Value and Lead To Breakdowns – A Subjective Perspective

Social media is rife wife impersonation and fake profiles that proliferate with sinister intentions that are contrary to key mission values and beliefs. This creates a lot of noise amidst the constant stream of information flows! Some, food for thought?

“We are smarter than our computer but computers make us smarter too”
‘A Picture Tells A Thousand Words’

I wrote about this previously in this article wherein I highlighted that

These days there has been an enormous amount of content and information flowing through the web about Enterprise 2.0 and how to specifically deploy social media tools within the enterprise that don’t

a) go stale with abandoned use

and

b) don’t expose people’s collaborative tendencies or lack thereof’

This is a serious issue which needs a cooperative framework rooted on trust and reputation in information systems. For example, online communities proliferate through various platforms and for me personally, they have emerged through various Discord servers.

Influencers have caused so much issues in the trading environment for example and their use of language transgresses all codes of respect. Their innate tendencies are blasphemous and embody all the wrong modals of which I elaborate very clearly here

Discord is very powerful for it enables various communities of interest to configure a communication framework that will work under the right conditions with the right degree of moderation. The proliferation of WhatsApp groups across the #education system for example do not have any meaningful value unless professors and student admin coordinators are also present in the groups for hate speech and racism brews amongst factions here! Few understand this!

Whilst not everything can be free, there exists a wide array of developers that contribute to the open source movement! True, in business and in the ‘real practical world’ as many say – legalities rule but it is my view the evolution of the internet will integrate Trust Based Memorandums of Understanding which are simple rules grounded on principals. After all, if you cannot trust someone, you cannot do business with them, simple!

Collectively and at the end of the day, hardcore contracts are all heresay and if things don’t work out between parties they don’t work out. True, there may be discourse against each other – but at the end – doesn’t quarrel diminish the precedent of innovation anyway?
